    FSC-certified wood comes from responsibly managed sources, which helps curb illegal logging. 
  • Reducing junk mail
    Reducing the amount of unnecessary mail you receive reduces the need for cutting down trees. 
  • Supporting conservation programs
    Many cities and towns have programs that plant and replant trees, trim them, and remove dead or weak ones. 
  • Pressuring local governments
    Governments can create laws and regulations that encourage tree maintenance, planting, and protection.
